It's been just a few months since we launched the Supertape beta, and with it, a simple landing page explaining what Supertape is. Since then we've learned a ton, both about our artists and their needs, and about us and how to tell our story. From showcasing some of our favorite artists, answering more of your questions, showing off our beautiful templates, and digging deeper into the platforms we support — we think this new version tells our best story yet.

You can now link and promote your X profile, the social network formerly known as Twitter, on your band's website. If you already have a Twitter link, you can remove it after linking X. Or, ya know, you can leave your Twitter link and see if this whole X thing blows over. Up to you.

Setting up a custom domain is one of the biggest hassles of running a website. No more! Supertape can now automatically connect your existing domain with just a few clicks.

This new feature works with around 75% of domain providers out there, so in the off chance it doesn't work for you, we'll still guide you through the manual process.

We've made a change to our Apple Music integration so that "appears on" albums (ie another artist's album where you're featured on a track) are no longer imported to your site. This change makes Apple Music consistent with our other music platform integrations like Spotify and Deezer.

In the future we hope to support "appears on" albums, as we know that's important to many of our artists, but currently our app and templates assume all albums on your site are yours. We're still researching the best way to handle these, so if you have any input, let us know.

Artists selling on Gumroad can now link their profile to promote their products in their Supertape site.

Gumroad is an ecommerce platform that specializes in digital products, making it a popular way to sell music, beats, sample packs, sheet music, and more.

Custom domains are an awesome way to take your site to the next level, but they can be a serious pain to set up. No more!

Continuing our mission to automate as many tedious things for artists as possible, you can now purchase a custom domain directly through Supertape, and it will be set up automatically.

You can now link your Threads profile, the new Twitter-like social network from Instagram.

Inspired by the typography and photography of concert posters, ST-003 features a bold home page with an artist photo that provides color and interest through the entire site. Detail pages, like Album and Merch pages, use cover art as a dynamic background so each page has a unique feel. It's a fun one. After months of building, and weeks of beta testing, we're so excited to share that Supertape is officially live to the public.
