Dashboard

Learn which albums, products, videos, events, and platforms are most popular with your fans, and where they're visiting from.

Understanding stats

Supertape tracks stats for your site to provide you with insight into what your fans are doing on your site, how they got there, and where they’re located. All of this is done without cookies to respect your fans’ privacy, something most analytics tracking is really bad at.

Good to know! Stats will include your own visits and views as well.

Filtering by date

Stats can be filtered by date using the dropdown in the top right of your Dashboard, so you can see your trends over time.

Tracking visitors

The top of your Dashboard shows two important things for the selected dates:

  • Visitors - How many fans have visited your site.
  • Change - The difference from the amount of visitors in the previous period.

Tracking music

You can see how your fans are interacting with your Music with these two sections:

  • Music - Which albums are most popular and how many views they’ve received.
  • Music Platforms - Which music platforms are most popular and how many views they’ve received.

Good to know! You won’t see these sections if you’ve hidden your Music page.

Tracking merch

You can see how your fans are interacting with your Merch with these two sections:

  • Merch - Which products are most popular and how many views they’ve received.
  • Merch Platforms - Which merch platforms are most popular and how many views they’ve received.

Good to know! You won’t see these sections if you’ve hidden your Merch page.

Tracking videos

You can see how your fans are interacting with your Videos with these two sections:

  • Videos - Which videos are most popular and how many views they’ve received.
  • Videos Platforms - Which video platforms are most popular and how many views they’ve received.

Good to know! You won’t see these sections if you’ve hidden your Videos page.

Tracking tour events

You can see how your fans are interacting with your Tour with these two sections:

  • Tour - Which events are most popular and how many views they’ve received.
  • Tour Platforms - Which tour platforms are most popular and how many views they’ve received.

Good to know! You won’t see these sections if you’ve hidden your Tour page.

Tracking referrers

You can see which other websites contain a link to your site, and how many people have visited from those referral links.

Good to know! Your top referrer will likely be Direct / Unknown. This represents people who typed your URL directly into their browser, came from an email or app, or referrer info wasn’t sent from the site they came from.

Tracking countries

You can see which countries your fans are visiting your site from, and how many people have visited from those countries.
